5 stars — Finally got my PR, and Keith made it happen

After two years of limited training while recovering from an injury, I wasn't sure what to expect coming back to racing. Keith Rogers helped me put together my strongest half marathon yet, a 1:56 finish at the Pittsburgh Half Marathon in May 2026. I shaved two minutes off my previous PR I'd set about three years ago.

What stood out most to me was how flexible Keith was throughout the training cycle. He never made me feel locked into a rigid plan. If I needed to adjust pacing or pull back on distance, we made it work. The training itself was well-rounded, with a good mix of tempo runs, hill work, and long runs that built me up steadily.

Beyond the workouts, Keith helped me think through a race-day pacing strategy, as well as hydration and nutrition planning, which are important details when you're chasing a time goal. He kept me focused without ever making the process feel stressful or overwhelming. And his belief in me made a real difference. He saw the work I was putting in and knew I was capable of more on race day.

I've known Keith for several years and have watched him grow from being an accomplished runner into a highly effective coach. He has worked hard to learn and study the craft, from running gear to quality training. While his running background is extensive, he doesn't rely on that alone.

If you're coming back from injury or just looking for a coach who balances structure with real-world flexibility, I'd highly recommend Keith. He helped me get back to racing hard and earn a result that was beyond what I had hoped for!
